Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is my phone compatible with eSIM?

Please click here to view the list of eSIM-compatible devices.

What is Roaming and why does it matter?

Roaming allows your phone to use mobile internet outside your home country.
To avoid unwanted charges, turn OFF roaming on your primary SIM and turn ON roaming only on our eSIM.

⚠️ On some Android devices, roaming can only be enabled globally. In that case, ensure that our eSIM is selected for mobile data in your settings.

Can I receive phone calls or SMS?

Yes, if your primary SIM remains active, you can receive calls and SMS as usual.

⚠️ Be aware that this may result in roaming fees from your home carrier.
Our eSIM is data-only and doesn’t support regular calls or SMS. You can still use apps like WhatsApp, Skype, or Viber to stay in touch.

How do I install the eSIM?

Please click here for the installation guide.

What’s the difference between installing and activating the eSIM?

  • Installation: When you scan the QR code and add the eSIM to your device.

  • Activation: When the eSIM starts working in your destination country (or in any supported country mentioned in your confirmation email).

⚠️ Some eSIMs start counting days immediately after installation. Always refer to the instructions in your post-purchase email.

I can’t scan the QR code. What should I do?

If you're using the same device for installation, follow the manual installation instructions for your phone:

When should I install the eSIM?

We recommend installing the eSIM on the day of departure, while still connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data in your home country.

When does my data plan start?

This depends on the specific eSIM:

  • Some plans start when you arrive at your destination and connect to the local network.

  • Others start immediately after scanning the QR code.

Always check the activation instructions in your confirmation email.

Do I need to enable Roaming for the eSIM?

Yes. Roaming must be enabled for the eSIM to function properly:

  • iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Roaming > Voice & Data.

  • Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Advanced > Roaming.

⚠️ Only enable roaming on the eSIM, not on your primary SIM.

iMessage isn’t working. What can I do?

Check that iMessage is enabled and correctly set up:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive
Make sure your phone number and email are selected.

Do I need to remove the eSIM after my trip?

The eSIM will stop working once you leave the covered countries.
You can manually remove it from your device settings if you no longer need it.

Can I use Hotspot or Tethering?

Absolutely! You can share your eSIM data with friends and other devices—no limitations.

Why is my Android phone showing less data?

Android devices often have a default data warning limit, usually 2GB. This is not your actual data balance.
To check your real data usage and balance, go to My eSIM.

How can I get an invoice?

Submit your company details here. The invoice will be available within a week in your account here.

How do I get a payment receipt?

A payment receipt is automatically sent to your email after each purchase.

Can I top up my eSIM?

Yes! Visit My eSIMiz to top up.

Make sure the plan you purchased is rechargeable, as stated on the product page.
